Kara Subach (Hirschfeld) is the Principal at OutlierInsights, where she leverages over 15 years of experience in marketing, digital strategy, and technology integration. Kara’s career spans leadership roles in marketing, communications, and technology for national associations, campaigns, and nonprofits. She has directed major organizational rebrands, launched and optimized websites, strengthened digital platforms with SEO and analytics, and led high-profile campaigns that elevated national visibility. In addition, she has partnered with startups, businesses, and mission-driven organizations to build integrated websites, enhance audience engagement, and develop data-driven digital ecosystems.

Kara is a former Army Reservist who deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, bringing mission-focused leadership and grit to her work. She later served as a Commissioner on the Arizona Veterans’ Service Advisory Commission, advising the Governor on veteran wellness and policy initiatives, and she continues to champion veteran-focused nonprofits through marketing and media strategy.

Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Kara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Law from the University of Arizona and a Master of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations with a concentration in Marketing Communication Management from the University of Alabama.

Active in her community, Kara advises the University of Virginia Alpha Chi Omega chapter, volunteers with the Catch a Lift Fund to support combat-wounded veterans, and is engaged in her children’s schools and activities.
